WHO WE ARE

We are an international not-for-profit research (organization) network who cooperates to analyses some of the most important topics influencing the quality of coffee.

We are the outcome of the willingness of the industry and the university community to work together to push forward the bounds of coffee knowledge.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Our board is composed of representatives from the member organizations with the aim to define the goals and the guidelines of the activities executed by the IHFCRI, in respect to the resources available.

STEERING COMMITTEE
It is composed by researchers and coffee industry experts. It directs the Research Activities,
identifies the stream of research, and define, the institutions which will be part of the projects.

SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE
Its aim is to guide, drive, and monitor the research activity.

LAB STAFF
Our Lab staff is composed of a selected group of post-graduated members who have been practicing a career in research and are willing to apply their expertise’s on the implementation of science onto the research project.

COLLABORATING RESEARCHERS AND STUDENTS
Researchers and graduate students cooperate on research projects.

OPERATING COMMITTEE
Its task is to organize and to manage the Education and the Publication activities.

PARTNERS AND MEMBERS

Our network of coffee research institutions includes associations, universities, public agencies and laboratories including private company research departments.

These institutions dedicate personnel and infrastructure resources to the activities of the International Hub for Coffee Research and Innovation.

HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER

Any private or public institution can apply to become member and will be able to give a positive contribute to the activities of the International Hub for Coffee Research and Innovation.

The Board of Directors will analyse all the applications applying the following criteria:

  1. expertise’s acquired in the research fields;
  2. Availability to support the activities of the IHFCRI;
  3. absence of any conflictual interest with the mission of the IHFCRI.

HOW TO BECOME A SCIENTIFIC STAFF
Any Post-Graduated researcher specializing in one or more disciplines specified in the call may apply. Details will be specified in the calls.
